March 10 on 10! { New Bern, NC Family Photographer}

 

For this month’s 10 on 10 project I focused on one event during the day- cooking with my girls.    They look kind of excited, don’t they??

 

 

I was pretty excited because check out the ingredients!  What not to like about Hershey’s Kisses?

 

But don’t forget the other, yummy ingredient….. M & Ms.  Yum!

Louisa got right to work putting her pretzels in a line.

And Liza was all business too. They were serious about this stuff!

Don’t worry though. They didn’t stay serious for long.

After a while this little one was begging to eat just one more. Who can resist those eyes??

After lining up pretzels and topping them with Kisses we then baked them for just a few minutes. When they came out of the oven it was easy to moosh an M & M candy right on top. This might have been their favorite part.

So, what did we make? We made these lovely, little creations. They were a little salty- a little sweet…. I think I really like these things!

All this cooking couldn’t have been done without a bit of a mess. Lucky for her, she could lick this off

And, finally…. one of my favorite series of images from the afternoon. I call this one “Hand, Fist, Face.” Check out the little one grabbing a huge handful of M & Ms. She knew exactly what she was doing!

So, there you have my 10 on 10, which came out to be a little more than 10 I think. Oh well. I’m flexible. I think it is OK to have a few moreAt least I am getting them posted on the 10th!
